Shear stress for rectangle beam = 3/2 times of avg shear stress.
The avg shear stress = F/2(bh).
Shear stress = 3/4(F/bh).
(Refer gate 2014 set-3 2-mark).
Shear stress for rectangle beam = 3/2 times of avg shear stress.
The avg shear stress = F/2(bh).
