Why is the knocking tendency increasing ? Someone explain please.

Since the supercharging is done the C.R value increases but the fixed octane number remains same. So the new CR value is more for fixed octane rating fuel, it leads to increase in knocking.

Actually with supercharging cylinder pressure increases so difference between knocking pressure and cylinder safe pressure (which is below knocking pressure) decreases so knocking tendency increases.

The supercharging causes the temperature and pressure rise giving diesel engine to knock.

Superchaging increses temperature and pressure of mixture this causes auto ignition of end charge.
