C) Carburettor is the right answer.
Because in question "in order to mix air and petrol " and in old times Carburettor done this job mixing of air and fuel.
But in modern times there is no requirement of mixing air and fuel hence no requirement of Carburettor air and fuel is directly injected into the combustion chamber.
