Why we can't use petrol in diesel engine, due to compression ratio?

Petrol's SIT is much higher to be self-ignited in a diesel engine.

So we can't use petrol in CI engine.

Petrol have a higher ignition temperature.

But petrol does not require higher compression ratio if we injected petrol in diesel engine so the pressure is high due to inject pressure and also due to compression ratio so the petrol reach high pressure so the temperature is increased due to this piston reach before tdc the petrol ignite automatically followed pre ignition so the wave is generated because of unbound combustion so the knocking is generate.

If we require complete combustion we need to decrease compression ratio and ignition delay.
