Petrol engines have a compression ratio 5 to 8 while Diesel engines have 15 to 20.
So, due to the high compression ratio petrol may set ignite and produce a high temperature that can wear the Piston and cylinder

Petrol engine ignition temp are high but diesel engine ignition temp are low. So, OPTION B is correct.

If pressure increases then temperature also increases due to this high temperature the fuel is ignited.

It's not the correct answer because fuel is ignited because of high pressure generated on compression which in turn produces temperature.

You are right madam.
Because it is work at diesel cycle.
Because it is work at diesel cycle.

This is not an exact answer because during the injection to the combustion chamber, the fuel mixture will be at high pressure and temperature. We know that pressure is directly proportional to temperature, so it gets ignited.

We can't use petrol in diesel engines because diesel engines are designed for high torque at low speeds.
