How come its 15 : 1?

In my opinion, 14.7 : 1 is the stoichiometric AF ratio that's why 15 : 1 is the correct answer. If we take 10 : 1 the mixture become too rich and the power obtained is high.

It should be 10:1.

@All.

The stoichiometric air-fuel mixture is about 14.7: 1 i.e. for every one gram of fuel, 14.7 grams of air is required.

Any mixture greater than 14.7: 1 is considered a lean mixture and less than 14.7: 1 is a rich mixture.
So, the correct mixture ratio according to the given options will be 15: 1.
