When an internal mouthpiece is running full, the discharge through the mouthpiece is twice the discharge when it is running free.

                Running free means the liquid will not able to touch the side of the mouth piece after expansion. Hear length of mouthpiece is dia of orifice.

                Running free means what?

                Discharge when mouthpiece is running free: Q = 0.5 * a * sqrt(2*g*H);
Discharge when mouthpiece is running full: Q = 0.707 * a * sqrt(2*g*H);
Where,
a = area of the mouthpiece;
g= acceleration due to gravity;
H = Height of the liquid above the mouthpiece;
