Length of divergent section is greater than convergent section inorder to avoid caviation.

If internal energy Also added then it is called total energy. So this also wrong.

And the reason to keep the divergent part longer is to avoid separation of fluid from boundary.

The angle of convergence at a inlet is limit by cavitation effect. And the angle of divergence at outlet is limit by the effect of separation of fluid.
