Given answer (lies below) is correct.
i) Centre of gravity lies below the centre of buoyancy.
ii) The centre of buoyancy lies above the centre of gravity.
Both give the same meaning.
Submerged body:
Stable - B lies above G.
Unstable - B lies below G.
Neutral - B and G coincides.
Floating body:
Stable - M lies above G.
Unstable - M lies below G.
Neutral - M and G coincide.

@Ankit and @Jana. When there is floating body then only b should below g for stable equilibrium.
For submerged or immersed body g should be below b.

For stable equilibrium, the centre of buoyancy should below the centre of gravity and meta centre should above the centre of gravity.

There are two conditions:
1. Submerged body.
2. Floating body answer is right for the submerged body.
