Atmospheric pressure can be defined in the following terms-
1. It is 1.01325 bar or 101.325kpascal. (1pascal= 1kN/m^2).
2. 76cm of mercury column.
3. 10.3m. of water column.

Because 1kN/m2 = 0.1m of water = 73.786mm of Hg.
