Mercury has a higher dynamic viscosity than water. Water's dynamic viscosity at 20°C is 1.005 centipoise. Mercury's dynamic viscosity at 20°C is 1.6 centipoise.
Hence dynamic viscosity of water in comparison to mercury is lower.
Hence dynamic viscosity of water in comparison to mercury is lower.

The answer is wrong.
The Viscosity of water is less than mercury. Viscosity of mercury is 1.6 times the water viscosity.

Here, it is mentioned only viscosity it means here we are talking about the Dynamic viscosity and the dynamic viscosity of water is lower than mercury.
So, the answer will be Option B.
So, the answer will be Option B.

Dynamic viscosity of Water < Dynamic viscosity of Mercury.
Kinematic viscosity of Water > Kinematic viscosity of Mercury.
Kinematic viscosity of Water > Kinematic viscosity of Mercury.

The kinematic viscosity of water is greater than mercury because the density of mercury is more than that of water. But dynamic viscosity of mercury is greater than water.
Thank you.
Thank you.

The viscosity of water is lower than the viscosity of mercury.
Viscosity of Hg = 0.0015Ns/m^2.
Water = 0.00089Ns/m^2.
Viscosity of Hg = 0.0015Ns/m^2.
Water = 0.00089Ns/m^2.

Dynamic viscosity of Hg is greater than that of water whereas kinematic viscosity of water is greater than that of Hg (bcz density is higher for Hg).
