As of my knowledge, The flow is very slow,
Fr=1. Critical flow
Fr>1. Supercritical flow (rapid flow)
Fr<1. Subcritical flow (slow flow/Tranquil Flow)
Fr> 1.

The critical depth is the depth at which Froude number =1,
F=v/√(gy) if depth is more than this it is subcritical flow or else supercritical flow.

When Froude no is less than 1 then the flow is said to be sub critical or Tranquil flow (both are same).
