Hydraulic radius and hydraulic mean depth are two different things, right?
Hydraulic mean depth = A/T.
Hydraulic radius = A/P.
Hydraulic mean depth = A/T.
Hydraulic radius = A/P.

The answer is wrong.
The most economical section of a rectangular channel is one that has a hydraulic radius equal to half of the depth of flow. So either MCQ is wrong or the answer is wrong.

In a rectangular pipe depth is always half of the radious pipe. When depth is more than radius the fluid not easily flow in the pipe.
