Power is directly proportional to speed. So more power products by pump for suction of low pressure liquid, when you increase speed. So not requirement of more npsh.

Why?

The required NPSH increases monotonically while the NPSH actual decreases, and when these two meet, the cavitation starts.

NPSH(required) = (P + v * v/2)inlet - P(vapour)/density.

Is it because NPSH remains constant?

NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head).

The minimum pressure required at the suction port of the pump to keep the pump from cavitation.

What is the NPSH?
