Hydraulic efficiency of an impulse turbine = (2*(V1-u)(1+kcosB)*u)/ V1^2.

For maximum efficiency u=v1/2 and efficiency=(1+kcosB)/2 and if k=1 then efficiency will be (1+cosB)/2.

For angle theta = 0, efficiency is 100%.
