The correct answer is: Thermostatic expansion valve.

A thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) is a type of valve that maintains a constant degree of superheat at the end of the evaporator coil in a refrigeration system. It does this by regulating the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil based on the temperature of the refrigerant gas leaving the coil.

The TXV ensures that the refrigerant is superheated by a consistent amount, which is essential for the efficient and safe operation of the refrigeration system.

The other options are not accurate:

- Automatic expansion valve: This valve maintains a constant pressure difference between the high and low sides of the system, but does not directly control superheat.
- High-side float valve: This valve regulates the flow of refrigerant into the condenser coil based on the level of liquid refrigerant in the condenser.
- Low-side float valve: This valve regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil based on the level of liquid refrigerant in the evaporator.

Note: TXVs are widely used in refrigeration systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heat pump systems, to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

In low side float valve, the valve opens as the level of the refrigerant drops in the evaporator, but in high side float valve, the valve opens when the level of the refrigerant increases in the chamber--answer D.

Exactly, because the low side float valve only used in the flooded type evaporator, only fluid circulation has done in its. So, how to superheat at the end of the evaporator coil?
