Area moment of inertia: mm4 or in4.
Mass moment of inertia: kg.m2 or ft.lb.s2.

Answer is D.
Instead of mass, the area is taken into consideration. Then M.O.I of the area is given by,
ak^2 = m^4.

There are two types of "moment of inertia":
1. Area moment of inertia with units.
[mm4] or [in4].
2. Mass moment of inertia with units.
[kg. m2].

A quantity expressing a body's tendency to resist angular acceleration, which is the sum of the products of the mass of each particle in the body with the square of its distance from the axis of rotation.
Moment of inertia ( ), also called "angular mass" (kg. m2), is the inertia of a rotating body with respect to its rotation. It is a rotating body's resistance to angular acceleration or deceleration, equal to the product of the mass (m) and the square of its perpendicular distance (k) from the axis of rotation.
M I= mk^2 [unit kg m^2]
And= A.
