Time is gain because, from the time period formula, T is inversely proportional to the acceleration due to gravity. As g will decrease, T will automatically increased.

Sure it will gain time because downwards in the earth there is less air contact rather on the earth. On the earth it looses time because of presence of air. Same opposite to downwards there is less air present due to which it will gain time.

Down the earth gravity decrease so by formula,
T = 2#.sq route(L/G).
So, G decrease and T increase.
T = (1/G).
