The angle of Repose: the maximum angle of inclination of the plane at which a body can stay at rest. Even at ANGLE OF REPOSE, the body doesn't move. It's about to start.
The angle of friction is the angle of inclination of the plane with the horizontal when the body just starts to slide.
So, here body begins to slide. It corresponds to the angle of friction. If it was mentioned about to start or impending, it would have been a repose angle.

The correct answer is Angle of Friction.
Angle of friction is defined as the angle between the normal reaction force and the resultant force of normal reaction force and friction when an object just begins to move, whereas the angle of repose is defined as the minimum angle of an inclined plane which causes an object to slide down the plane.

The angle of the inclined plane at which a block resting on it is about to slide down the plane is called the angle of repose, and its value is equal to the angle of friction between the block and the inclined plane.
So, the correct answer is Angle of Repose.
So, the correct answer is Angle of Repose.

When a body is on incline plane and we gradually increase the inclination angle at which the body just began to move downward, is called angle of repose.
At the same time, the angle repose is equal to the angle of friction.
At the same time, the angle repose is equal to the angle of friction.

Actually they asked at what angle of inclination of plane body will start moving downward. So, when angle of repose will equal to angle of friction it will start moving downwards. So, angle of friction is the answer.

@All.
The angle of friction is right. It is an angle of the base plane to datum for start sliding.
The angle of response is an angle of the body with datum.
Now angle of plane is asked so( A )is right answer.

The angle of repose is equal to angle friction at the time when sliding starts on an inclined plane.
The angle of repose is greater than angle of friction when the body at at rest at inclined plane.
The angle of repose is greater than angle of friction when the body at at rest at inclined plane.

If in answer angle of repose is not disscued then answer is angle of friction. But here all ready angle of repose is given. Terefore answer should angle of repose.

But when friction is more it dominate the motion of the body. But when body is begins to start and move in downward direction it is known as "angle of repose ".

Angle of repose is the steepest angle at which a sloping surface formed of loose material is stable.
Therefore, the correct answer is A) Angle of friction.
Therefore, the correct answer is A) Angle of friction.
