Gas turbines can work at elevated temperatures but materials used in the manufacturing gas turbines limits the temperature. Turbine blades will get ruined which decreases the efficiency and life.

Temperature can vary with metallurgy (coating) of Combustor & Turbine blades. Our turbine (Model - LM 6000) temperature @combustor is 1200 degree celsius.

Water cooled blades in a gas turbine can work at beyond 1100 degree Celsius. While normal gas turbine can work around 800 degree Celsius.

Yes, we took 700 and For safety reasons we don't go beyond this value, there is high temperature trip is provided on the system.
