Someone please answer me is baffle plate is fitted in two wheelers also? and how does it work?

Baffle Pad is made of either PU (Polyurethane) or some spongy polymer under controlled density, usually used in vehicles for NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) applications.

Why & how its work?

Baffle plate is mainly used in hydraulic power pack (oil tank) for prevent vibration when it subjected to load.

Explain about baffle plate.

Is baffle plate used to the reduce the vibrations or not?

Kolli Kishore said: (Jan 3, 2017)
It is used to reduce the vibrations and also acts as shocks absorber i.e. absorbs the vibrations.

What is baffle plates? Where it is used?

Baffle plate is in oil sump.

Baffles are also fitted in fuel tanks.

Baffle plate is used in the oil pan to negate the effect of vibration.

Usually, it is used in four wheeler. When a car is taking a turn or suddenly accelerating or decelerating oil will try to jump or lean to one side which can be prevented by using baffle plate.

Whatever the baffle plate is it is used to prevent leak I think. If wrong tell me.

No, baffle plate used on oil sump to eliminate surging of oil.

An oil pan is typically provided with a baffle plate, which is used to eliminate entrapment of air in an oil strainer, such as a filtration oil filter, through oil inlets, as well as to prevent oil from sloshing around. Conventionally, the baffle plate is welded to the oil pan, or otherwise secured, together with the oil pan, to an engine block.

OIL PAN BAFFLE PLATE. When the vehicle is on the corner or the time of acceleration and deceleration, oil in the oil pan will lean or jump. To prevent these to happen, baffle is assembled in the pan of stock engine.

I agree with you @Hari.
