(A) is the correct answer. Because there is not mention the fuel is petrol, gas or diesel. If the engine is petrol engine than fuel is injects into intake manifold.

Yes fuel is injected into combustion chamber but injected by injectors and these injectors are operated by ECM signals.

The correct answer should be option B. In a direct injected system, the fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber, thereby bypassing the intake manifold.
