Find the statement that must be true according to the given information.
8.
Georgia is older than her cousin Marsha. Marsha's brother Bart is older than Georgia. When Marsha and Bart are visiting with Georgia, all three like to play a game of Monopoly. Marsha wins more often than Georgia does.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
If Georgia is older than Marsha and Bart is older than Georgia, then Marsha has to be the youngest of the three. Choice b is clearly wrong because Bart is the oldest. There is no information in the paragraph to support either choice a or choice c.

Option D) is correct because Georgia is older than Marsha and younger than Bart. So, Bart is oldest Marsha is youngest. Other options does not have strong argument.

@Sundar,
This has nothing to do with the reversal of that less than sign.
It's a matter of verbal reasoning and not all mathematical reasoning.
And the passage lay emphasis to find the true answer as given in the passage.
It is never said that Bart losses. But the age was given and it's direct to answer who is the eldest and the youngest amongst them.

Age 1. Georgia is older than her cousin Marsha ==> G > M
Age 2. Marsha's brother Bart is older than Georgia ==> B > G
Age: Combine 1 and 2 ==> B > G > M
Wins (Marsha wins more often than Georgia does) ==> G < M
-----
Now, B > G > M satisfies option D (Marsha is the youngest).
Hence option D is the answer. Hope this will help you.
