What is the purpose of the yard?

As you guys said it is also used for measurement, but what we measure in that?

Marshall said:   9 years ago
A yard is a unit of measurement.

I think the correct choice should have been centimeter. Centimeter is in the metric system. The other options are not.

I think 'yard' means an area of land in which a particular type of work is done, often one from which goods are sold.

Anyone please explain the meaning of yard.

It's a terrible question because classification by either scale or context are both different within the set, so there are two answers that meet the provided criteria.

I agree with @Mahantesh distance is measured in inch, yard, and cm but weight is measured in ounce.

Prasaanth said:   1 decade ago
Ounce is correct answer because distance cannot be connected with weight.

Ounce is used to measure weight only. So 'c' is correct option.

In my view the distance is measured in inch,cm and yard but weight is measured in ounce.

As Per my opinion Inch, ounce, Yard connected to each other. Then the answer should be Option- C.
