Option C is correct.

Because it is clearly mentioned that people only visit those house where puja is performe during the puja. If he visited Keshav house. Then it clear that puja is performed in Keshav house and there is no talk of invitation. So, option C is more appropriate.

But C also seems right basing on the section of the passage that says people make it a pont to visit those houses with or without the invitation.

Therefore I still think C is right because for all we know that Keshav's house performed the Puja and its where Monmohan caught the day from. Not sure if he was or not invited.

In option B though Manmohan did not go to Keshav's house uninvited. So sure Keshav invited Manmohan. If you disagree with option B then you must follow option D. So, I think in that sense option D is correct.

@Sanjoy Daw.

I disagree with option D means "Manmohan was invited by Keshav" is wrong that implies he was uninvited but the statement says he went to his house anyway, so if one disagrees with option D then they have to go with option B as a correct answer that is "Manmohan, being a religious man, went to Keshav's house uninvited. ".

So according to me, options B and D can depend on the situation while C can exist independently that is "In Keshav's house, 'puja' was performed. ".

So for that reason, C should be the answer.
