The demand for universities is escalating. In order to meet this rising demand, the government has taken the step of setting up (pvt) universities. Although it has planned to do this through a very strict and stringent process.

Options A, C & E are out of the scope of the premise set up by the statement. One can rule out option D simply by using the word 'anything'. Hence, option B is correct.

@Pratmesh: It says "anything" and not specifically the education sector. Hence it cannot be inferred.

Since private universities are being set up (the reason they need rules during institution) explains the fact that demand for universities is being stepped up.

"Unless and until the directions are given, the private universities can charge exorbitant fees" is the correct answer. It indicates towards unwanted fee increase, done by universities.

If there would have been instituting new university then some thing could be drawn but without that it means that some universities are already running.

The statement says that govt passes bill or set of directions to the private institutes under a strict direction.

So I think "D" logically follow.

I think E would be more appropriate as there are no such strict rules for them. So with this they will come under the supervision of govt.

I think D is the correct answer, because we can't say if the demand of more universities is being stepped up from the statement.

Option D will be the correct answer.

As because, we cannot say that the demand for more universities is being stepped.

I think the statement talks about various institutes under a given university. Logically it should be "D".

The answer should be D as nothing else has been said about the numbers of a private institution.
