'Most' and 'some' have a difference that's why the answer. Can't be D as it says some dresses. Whereas the statement says Most dresses.

No option D in contradictory. It is already given most dresses are expensive that infers some are cheap but not some are expensive (as in accordance to option D).

They talk about most of the dresses being expensive. And they don't specify anything about it being cheap. The remaining dresses maybe cheap or moderately price or free for that matter.
The only probable conclusion is option D.

"Most dresses in that shop are expensive" means that there are also other dresses with lees cost. So, option C is correct answer.

Based on the premise, "Some dresses in that shop are non-expensive". Non-expensive does not necessarily mean "Cheap". But based on Aristotelian syllogistic logic, the premise is identical to Option D.
