Statement: Should there be compulsory medical examination of both the man and the woman before they marry each other?
Arguments:
- No. This is an intrusion to the privacy of an individual and hence cannot be tolerated.

Explanation:
Clearly, such a step would help to prevent the growth of diseases like AIDS. So, only argument II is strong.

Making medical exam compulsory would be an intrusion of privacy. One can have it with mutual understanding but making it compulsory is not a strong argument.

Compulsory medical examination is an intrusion of privacy whether it prevents spread of AIDS or bot argument I is strong enough.

Agreed. How is a Compulsory medical examination, not an intrusion of privacy. Somebody is intruding on your person by force.
Whether you think this is a reasonable intrusion or not is irrelevant, the argument is still strong if you argue the opposite.

I do asses from this question that [e] should be correct as Argument 1 is as strong as Argument 2.
