Given 8 12 9 13 10 14 11.
Let us take (8,12) (9,13) (10,14) (11,?).

8+1=9,9+1=10,10+1=11,11+1=12.
12+1=13,13+1=14,14+1=15.

Answer is (15, 12).

There are two series. Both series increments by 1.

At ODD place (start with 8) : 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,....and so on.

At EVEN place (start with 12) : 12, 13, 14, 11, 15,....and so on.

8 + 4 = 12,
12 - 3 = 9,
9 + 4 = 13,
13 - 3 = 0,
10 + 4 = 14,
14 - 3 = 11,
11 + 4 = 15,
15 - 3 = 12.
