6 20 8 14 10 8 12.

6 + 2 = 8.
8 + 2 = 10.
10 + 2 = 12.

20 - 6 = 14.
14 - 6 = 8,
So, that 8 - 6 = 2.

Odd positions:

6, 8, 10, 12 , y→ clearly +2 pattern --> y = 12+2 = 14.

Even positions:
20, 14, 8, x → -6 decreasing pattern --> x = 8-6 = 2.

6 20 8 14 10 8 12

6 + 2 = 8
8 + 2 = 10
10 + 2 = 12
12+2 = 14 ( But before 14, you should consider the alternative pattern as well between 12 and 14, which follows the explanation below)

20 - 6 = 14
14 - 6 = 8
8 - 6 = 2

So between 12 and 14, the alternate pattern 2 will come, so the answer is 2, 14.
