Yes its really easy but in exam the pattern if we can't identify it may be bit difficult.

Just practice as I was confused in solving the type 2.

8+2 = 10.
10+2 = 12.
12+2 = 14 [14].
And 20-6 = 14.

14-6 = 8.
8-6 = 2 [2] ans:- 2 14.

Make two series by taking alternative number.

6, 8, 10, 12, [14] Explanation=(6+2=8, 8+2=10, 10+2=12, 12+2=14).
20, 14, 8, [2] Explanation=(20-6=14, 14-6=8, 8-6=2).

So correct answer is 2,14 i.e. option D.

Simply here in series 2 is added in odd positions and 6 is subtracted at even positions.

Its very simple.

Adding two with odd positioned numbers. (6+2=8, 8+2=10, 10+2=12, 12+2=14).

Subtracting six by even positioned numbers. (20-6=14, 14-6=8, 8-6=2).

So the answer is 2 14.
