5 is here just to confuse us .
Subtracting 3 from alternative numbers that is;
28 - 25 = 3.
21 - 18 = 3.
14 - 11 = 3.
Subtracting 3 from alternative numbers that is;
28 - 25 = 3.
21 - 18 = 3.
14 - 11 = 3.

As difference is;
25 - 18 = 7
18 - 7 = 11 as first digit,
And next will be common as 5.
25 - 18 = 7
18 - 7 = 11 as first digit,
And next will be common as 5.

This is wrong way to solve this series.
Right way is here.
28-3=25.
25-4=21.
21-3=18.
18-4=14.
So first we subtract 3 n then 4 according to series we subtract 3 before 4 so.
14-3=11.
And 5 is interpolation.
Right way is here.
28-3=25.
25-4=21.
21-3=18.
18-4=14.
So first we subtract 3 n then 4 according to series we subtract 3 before 4 so.
14-3=11.
And 5 is interpolation.
