Every no. is increasing by 0.8.
So 1.5+0.8=2.3.
2.3+0.8=3.1.
3.1+0.8=3.9.
Then 3.9+0.8=4.7.
So 1.5+0.8=2.3.
2.3+0.8=3.1.
3.1+0.8=3.9.
Then 3.9+0.8=4.7.

1.5 + 0.8 = 2.3.
2.3 + 0.8 = 3.1.
3.1 + 0.8 = 3.9.
3.9 + 0.8 = 4.7.
It's because when we add 0.8 in each answer we will get the next digit. So, when we add 3.9 + 0.8 so our answer will be 4.7.
2.3 + 0.8 = 3.1.
3.1 + 0.8 = 3.9.
3.9 + 0.8 = 4.7.
It's because when we add 0.8 in each answer we will get the next digit. So, when we add 3.9 + 0.8 so our answer will be 4.7.

Hi I have doubt.
I have taken the difference between consecutive terms for this question like I have added 3.1 bcos the diff between 3.1 and 1.5 is 1.6 and I have added that 1.6 to 3.1 to get the answer 4.7 is my method correct or not?
Please, anyone explain.

This is simple, the logic is 1.5+0.8 = 2.3.
So, by the addition of 0.8, the number will increases.
So, by the addition of 0.8, the number will increases.
