It can also be like this:

Series:- 2, 6, 18, 54..

2*1=2.

2*3=6 So 3+6=9.
2*9=18 So 9+18=27.
2*27=54 So 54+27=81.

2*81=162.

Why not this can follow this rule.

02 + 4*(3^0) = 6.
06 + 4*(3^1) = 18.
18 + 4*(3^2) = 54.
54 + 4*(3^3) = 108 ?

This can also be possible. isn't it ?

Rule.
02 + 4*(3^0) = 6.
06 + 4*(3^1) = 18.
18 + 4*(3^2) = 54.
54 + 4*(3^3) = 108 ?

First no is multiplied by 3 to get the next no.

So our answer is 54*3=162.

Second answer is,

First series 2 & 18 & 162... is multiply by 9.
2*9=18.
18*9=162.

And second series 6 & 54 &
6*9 = 54.
54*9 = 486.

ANS = 2 6 18 54 162 486..

Difference between 2 and 6 = 4.
Difference between 6 and 18 = 12.
Difference between 18 and 54 = 36.

Next number = 4x3=12, 12x3=36, 36x3=108.

Next number = 54 + 108 = 162.

Multiply first by 2 and add to original number and the multiplied answer:

2*2=4; 2+4=6.

6*2=12; 6+12=18.

18*2=36; 18+36=54.

54*2=128; 128 + 54=Answer.

Very easy multiply with 3.

2*3 = 6.

6*3 = 18.

18*3= 54.

54*3 = 162.

So answer is 162.
