5.
Posthumous Publication occurs when a book is published after the author's death. Which situation below is the best example of Posthumous Publication ?
Richard's illness took his life before he was able to enjoy the amazing early reviews of his novel.
Melissa's publisher cancels her book contract after she fails to deliver the manuscript on time.
Clarence never thought he'd live to see the third book in his trilogy published.
Elizabeth is honored with a prestigious literary award for her writing career and her daughter accepts the award on behalf of her deceased mother.
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Although choice d also mentions a writer who has died, it does not state that one of the writer's books was published after her death, only that she received an award. Choice a states that Richard wasn't around to see the early reviews of his novel, therefore implying that Richard died before the book was published. The other two options depict living writers.

Option D would be correct guess as per my point of understanding.

In option A, nowhere it is mentioned as published. Only mentioned that the author did not enjoy the reviews of the book. This means here we need to assume two situations:

1. The book might not yet published after his death.

2. The book might have been published when the author is alive and was deceased before the book got good reviews from the readers.

Option A is the best example of posthumous publication because it clearly states that the author died before being able to enjoy the positive reviews of their book, indicating that the book was published after their death.

Option D mentions an award but doesn't explicitly state that a posthumous publication occurred.

I think option D is the correct answer as the Author's daughter accepts the award on behalf of her deceased mother.

I think option D is the correct answer because after Elizabeth death her daughter accepted on behalf of her mother.

None is applicable because.

1. Richard's book might have been published before he died, but his book reviews came after his death. It takes time for a book to get popular.

Option A does not imply that Richard died before the publication. It says he was not hear his novels reviews due to his sudden death. It means the book has been published and he was awaiting the reviews.

No clear information and as no other option is so close to 'Posthumous Publications' we are forced to choose option 'A'.

The definition says that Richard was not able to enjoy the reviews, therefore he died before the reviews were published. Still there is no clear mentioning of when he died, he might have been alive when the book was published, but he died a few days later.
