3 pencils = 2 erasers---------->cost of pencil < cost of eraser (1).
4 erasers = 1 ruler------------->cost of eraser < cost of ruler (2).
From (1) & (2).
Pencil< eraser < ruler.
So statement is false.
4 erasers = 1 ruler------------->cost of eraser < cost of ruler (2).
From (1) & (2).
Pencil< eraser < ruler.
So statement is false.

PeNcil=x Eraser=y; Ruler=z
1st statement= 3x=2y......equ 1
2nd statement 4y=1z
multiply equ1 by 2....
6x=4y:
By equ 1 &3, equalling 4y value, we get
6x=1Z: 6Pencils=1 Ruler Cost
1st statement= 3x=2y......equ 1
2nd statement 4y=1z
multiply equ1 by 2....
6x=4y:
By equ 1 &3, equalling 4y value, we get
6x=1Z: 6Pencils=1 Ruler Cost
