|Its sortta simple first comes the hotel then 1 block west lies the market and 2 blocks west lies the drugstore.
So when we see the hotel lies on the east side of the drugstore!

|Actually in the Question there is written The hotel is two blocks east of the drugstore. So how could it lies in west of the market?|

|For example take your house and your neighbours house.
Your house has east, west, north, south directions and your neighbours too have that directions. Right.
So here the hotel has its directions and market & drugstore too have.
So (west). Drugstore. Market. Hotel. (east).
The hotel is two blocks east of the drugstore means hotel is in east.
The market is one block west of the hotel means market is in west to hotel.

|The question formation is inappropriate, because in the first statement it is given the hotel is 2 blocks east of the drugstore. So in that case we will take the first statement in granted. Then analyse the second one. This is according to my opinion. If I am wrong, then kindly explain me to rectify.|
