Obviously they are sitting in a row. Because the question says that they sit BEHIND each other. If it was a Circle, they would have said BESIDE each other. So option B is absolutely correct.

No statement mentioned how did they sit. What if they sat in a circle mode? If they sat in a circle mode, my option A is the right answer. So with the given info it is C, the correct answer.

I agree with @Yaseen. If they are sitting in a circle, the statement can be true. Therefore, it is uncertain until we know the manner in which they are sitting.

If they are sitting in a circle then, the answer will be true. If they are sitting as a row then answer is false. As they didn't mention anything the answer will be uncertain.
