1. Joe(J) is younger than Kathy(K) = J < K



2. Mark(M) was born after Joe(J) = M < J



Combine 1 and 2, Result = M < J < K



Now,



3. Kathy(K) is older than Mark(M) = M < K





From this: M < J < K We can understand that K is older than M.

Those who are confused about why it is not uncertain, please understand that;

"born after" ~ is same as ~ "younger".

Here answer be C because Kathy can be older or younger than Mark which is not exactly explained here.

The answer should be C (uncertain).

Since it's given that 1st and 2nd statement are true that means J<K and M>J. Now the possible solutions are J<M<K or J<K<M.

The answer should be C because no one's age is given plus if there was a statement "Kathy is older and Joe and Mark" then the answer would have been A. Here Mark can be older to Kathy.
