A hurricane is type of cyclone so cyclone is necessary to have hurricane. So B is also correct.

Hurricane is a name given to a cyclone which comes in america coastal beaches. So Hurricane is nothing but a name given to a cyclone. Like in India it was given Hudhud this year.
