Only electricity is not responsible for lightning. We have other resources too, like wood, thunder etc. I think brightness is closely related lightning.

I think brightness is the correct answer because light may produce by electricity but without any output we can not get brightness.

I think it must be brightness because when due to light, we experience brightness and brightness is also caused during thundering.

Brightness is the essential part of lightning. The answer should be brightness. There can be no lightning without brightness.
