Coffee is a liquid as like soup also liquid so the answer is soup in the bowl.

I don't think that answer is too good, because bowls can be used for rice and other foods.

Bowls were made for soup and universally used as such. Plus food would be for plates.

Answer can also be food because often we keep food in bowl and soup is also a kind of food.
