Hard work requires a lot of time and efforts. Smart work saves our time. Smart work is a fruit of hard work. So both are needed.

The difference between hard work and smart work is based on how I approach my task. Hard work would mean spending long hours to complete my work without any shortcuts. Smart work would be aiming for the same results but with planning and prioritization of tasks.

Basically, Hard work means doing something without having any priorities or goals in work.

In Smart work, we separate the task as a priority level and start doing it with shortcuts.

Hello, I can differentiate between hard work and smart work since we know that for any work or objectives there are various options/paths are available there but here hard-working people can choose any path and gone. But smart work first sees what's the ultimate aim and for that he decided that path which takes the shortest time, arrange works in various parts according to priority level.

Hard work: A student started practising all the chapters since the commencement of the course.

Smart work: A student started practising a day before exams targeting only significant aspects of the question paper.

Moral: Hard work takes a lot of time to get success whereas smart work takes less time to get success.

If the task gets completed simply by just following methods then it will be hard work, while the same task gets completed in few time by using few of tricks and applying fewer efforts then it will be known as smart work, actually, hard work gives experience if you are on the first time and smart work comes via experience if you are dealing with the same task.
