According to me, in hard work, there is no need to increase our knowledge &value system. But in order to do smart work firstly, you should be smart & you will have to increase your value system & upgrade your knowledge. Since we are running in 21th century so we must go for smart work if we want to stand developed.

Hard work is not only the physical strength, It is also mental efforts you put in it.

While smart work requires a lot of hard work and patience to gather the experiences.

From past and to utilise them in present as well as future,

So in my option, both are necessary to attain a particular goal.

Hard work includes physical efforts and less planning whereas Smart work includes less physical work and more planning. We can do a work by working smart in less time as compared to working smart.

According to me, hard work is related to our physical strength and smart work is done mentally.

For success, both are required like steering and accelerator in car which direct and give necessary speed to reach our destination.

Hard works mean to do any work by using body power and smart work means do any work by physically and mentally.

But we should do any work both physically and mentally that both are needed (equal).

Efficiently doing any work is smart work. The process is optimized and fast where the resources are widely used in this case. On contrary, hard work consumes time, energy as well as resources: at times they might exhaust you.
