Hard work is that you can do any work with more efforts and effectively.
Smart work is that you do any work with lesser efforts.
But I support hard work because if you can do more efforts in any work then you gain more and more knowledge and I think smart work comes from hard work.

There may be a both physical and mental work in hard work but in smart work there may be only a brain work.
