Sir, A person with not having right skills tends to do hard work having no vision towards output.
Hard work consumes more energy and is less effective when it comes to output.
Whereas Smart work can only be done by a person with necessary and right skills.
Smart work produces more effective results with less consumption of energy.
In my view, Smart work is better and should be preffered.

Completing the work by following same methods of seniors is hard work, finding alternatives ways to complete same work with short time is smart work.
