Off course, why not sir! I am damn sure that you will be double confident to select me after having a word with my previous reporting manager as you would come to know some more traits about me which you still don't know.

Further, I very confident about it not only due to the reason that they are too good to appreciate there team workers for their future development rather I have also put THE BEST there. Not my best rather THEIR best!

The question for asking previous/current employer details comes only if the person taking the interview is not fully convinced with the answers provided by the candidate.

Actually, this particular question should not come up at all. How the candidate performs in an interview is the only thing what is required. Going for previous references does not serve any purpose.

Yes, of course. As I personally believe that there is strong motive behind doing any work. Similarly if you are recommending somebody in your prestigious organization you need some true and correct information about him/her. And I will be glad to share contact details of the respective person of my organization, which I am currently working for.

My present employer is not aware of my job search and, for obvious reasons; I'd prefer to keep it that way. I'd be most appreciative if we kept our discussion confidential right now. Of course, when we both agree the time is right, then by all means you should contact them. I'm very proud of my record there.

"Definitely Ma'am/Sir! I will be glad to provide you the contact details if need be. ".

They will only ask you to see what your reaction will be. Judging by how you respond, they can easily tell whether you're telling the truth about your previous job or you're just making it all up.

Yes, sir. Why not? It's a pleasure for me. But sir I would request you once I got shortlist in your company then you may contact with them because they are not aware of that I am looking for a change and I sure will get the same feedback from them, what I told you about my self.

Yes sir why not, but it would be great if you contact them, at a later stage. As right now, they are not aware of my job search. Once I selected you can, I am confident that you will get positive response, as I'm very proud of my record there.

Yes sir you can contact my supervisor and you will get the same information about me as I have told you about my self.

And I am sure about the response because I have done my previous role with total responsibility as per the job requirement.
