Women Empowerment - A Cause for Increasing Divorce Rate in India

Women is the main cause for most divorce cases. First is judicial. India judicial supports only women after marriage even though they are bad. They take upper hand by manipulating the law. Second is money and status. Nowadays women don't see whether the boy is a good person or not. After marriage if that boy is bad they go for divorce. Third is caste and religion. It plays important role in women's marriage. They think bringing down a person through divorce is women empowerment even though the boy is a good person. Present generation women are not content with what they have. Increase divorce is not women empowerment. It's women egoistic way of empowerment.

We are in 21st century still gender equality exists. Women are still harassed by her life partner because of lack of awareness om rights, lack of education and lack of empowerment.

Women are working 24/7 hours to raise her children and her family. But she is not getting recognition for the work she has done.

The men's attitude towards this women empowerment should change because if they allow his wife to do a job she will become independent and she will not listen to his words and all. We have to take the example of Mary Kom. She got married and having two sons then also her husband allowed her to box. So all the men should inspire by Mary Kom's husband.

In my point of view, women empowerment is never caused for increasing divorce rate in India. Because empowerment creates how to educate our family and how to live in our society. Taking divorce is only depends upon the couple behaviour. If there is no mutual understanding, lack of love in a couple, no adjustment and patience, it will cause to take a divorce.

So, every couple in a family is facing a lot of problems. The main thing is an adjustment. For instance, if we take our parents, they were also facing many problems in their lives but they are still living together. I think women empowerment is not a cause for increasing divorce rate in India.

Women empowerment cannot be the reason of divorce because Divorce and women empowerment are two different things. Empowerment means own rights which women have. Men and women have their equal rights in each and every things. Women should also give equal importance as men has been given.

Divorce is the big problem due to mutual understanding, loyalty, trust, faith which are not there with partner. If both the partner will understand each other then this problem will not there. Suppose men have ego problems or jealousy problems than women empowerment can be the reasons of divorce. Its all depends on the situation and time periods which going on.

I don't think it is the fault of both parties. If we go through the Chanakya qoutes, "A good wife is one who serves her husband in the morning like a mother does, loves him in the day like a sister does and pleases him like a prostitute in the night".

In the present new world/generation in India, a normal family is forced to work together for a better life. In an orthodox/traditional family this new generation state of affairs does not work, rather they still believe in the above thought. This starts and causes basic issues between people and ultimately leads to family crisis.

So please respect each other and avoid unnecessary situations.

Women empowerment is a very much relevant topic in today's society,

We both man and women belong to a species named homo sapiens, so empowerment of women is in such a way it will lead to the progress of the so-called race, I don't believe the woman empowerment is the only driving factor for increasing divorce rate, but as these millennial generation woman is becoming more and more self-independent they will clearly make their decision to move ahead rather than comprising with the male-dominant patriarchal tree, So we must not object the importance of woman empowerment, let she cherish her dreams by seeing the importance of family.

Women Emopowerment is not the only the reason to increase divorse rate. Many other reasons are also responsible for increase in divorse rate. But Women empowerment is also one of them. Earlier, her husband do not respect or bahave good with her but she adjust with her husband because she were thinks about her single life after divorced. At that no one support her so she could be dependable for her needs. Now senario is change. Women is empowered. So she can take divorse easily and live her life happily which she want and deserve it. She can't be dependable on anyone for her needs. So women empowerment increases the divorse rate.

I think women empowerment is not a cause for increasing divorce rate in India. If we think that women empowerment increases the divorce rate it is our backward thinking. Empowering women give her equal status with respect to men. Increased rate of divorce is due to a misunderstanding between partners, being emotionless, being bored with relationship and selfishness etc.

Other causes for divorce in India are.

1. Domestic violence.
2. Cheating your partner.
3. Dowry.
4. Impatient.
5. Effect of Western culture.

According to me, if there is love, care and trust in between partners there will be no chance for divorce.

In my point of view, women's empowerment is beneficial for all women because it encourages them to do something for themselves. Now, women can do whatever they want no one can't stop them from doing anything. That's why we see women give gold medals for us. In the past period, women have no rights and freedom to do anything whatever she wants in her life women in the past period lives there live like a prisoner but today scenario is totally changed women have a right to raise her voice. We can't say that it increases the divorce rate is totally dependent on the misunderstanding between each other like and dislike.

If women empowerment is giving rise to divorces then men empowerment as well is giving rise to divorces. We are equally responsible. The problem is not the empowerment, the problem is with our society.

The society is so following gender-ism. If a man roams around with 3-4 girls, you call him a stud. But if a woman roams around with 3-4 guys, you call her a slut. The society has also become so geocentric.

If a guy cheats in a relationship, society supports the girl and If the girl cheats in a relationship, still the society supports the girl shame on us. Sorry for being so blunt and loud But this is the truth.
