Women Empowerment - A Cause for Increasing Divorce Rate in India

I believe that empowering a women we are making our country's backbone strong and leading towards the development. Talking about divorce its a taboo but there are several causes for it but solely blaming women empowerment its not justified. I would like to express in few points.

First point :women empowerment. PARTIALLY YES! Because they have freedom to take decision if they are not comfortable in any matter. Earlier they have no choice except to depend on male even after being harassed, abused, threaten or being thrashed for dowry. So they can do nothing, just bear the exploitation and remain silent. But now they have freedom to raise out matter and take decision as per them.

Second point :Forced marriage. Some families in order to expand their business empire or just for converting.

Their friendship into relation they force their children to get engaged without seeking their views.

Third point :Misuse of ipc 498 A, can contribute to divorce by falsely accusing or blaming male.

Forth point : Family interference. Sometimes possessive parent's decision for their children mislead them and they don't get a chance to of second thought about their decision.

At the same time we can't ignore the affect of modernisation which is being served us by the media. Some get inspire from them and do as they watch.

Lastly, conflict in between families : In some cases, not capable of settling down the matter in between saas and bahu.

So clearly from every direction their in no point in saying that women empowerment is accountable for increasing divorce rate.

I agree partially that woman empowerment a cause for increasing divorce rate in India because empowerment means awareness of powers of human in this woman knows about her rights.

In an earlier time, women were told that you have been like a maid in her husbands home and they serve their entire life to her husband and laws.

As now in the 21st century, they are aware of their rights so they can raise their voice against the violence and molestation harassments so we can say awareness of women empowerment cause for increasing rate in India.

This is the true fact.

If I am going to start a family, I would want my wife to look after my kids. Impart them with moral values and education. Because she would always be better at those things. Now, if some how I get married to a woman who is always worried about her career rather than her children, then I better not start a family.

In fact the risks of marriage now-a-days far outweigh the rewards. If a man thinks logically, he can get all the privileges of marriage staying single without having to worry about the risks. So why marry, and then get divorced 3 years later, lose half of your wealth, your house, your children, give alimony, give child support, go through emotional torture. Why?

Then if the wife files a false case of DV, then you and your family members get arrested without any explanation. Why would a sensible man, "who thinks in his head", would get married ?

In my opinion, women empowerment is nothing but the right to run familly or society in proper manner. I agree with the statment that an educated lady can run her familly in better way than an uneducated women because far every child home is frist school and mother is first is teacher so an educated mother can teach decorum and right things to her child in better way and we all know that earlier days women are mostly depend on the male member of her family for every thing and just becouse of this dependency they had to tolerate everything mostly time they are being harrassed molested threatend still they didn't say anything becouse they know that after living him how could the survive so, I think empowermet is neccessary for women to be independent and confident and if we talk about the divorce it is totally depend on the understanding and I would like to say that if are not feeling that your relation is running properlly couple should talk about and try to understand to both but if you are feeling that just becouse of some issues like dowry and giving birth of a girl child you are being harrased and threated you should seperate yourself becouse I think being alone is better than being with devil. Thank you.

If women empowerment doesn't allow her to take care of family and be the emotional binding point of view in the family. Then women empowerment will lead to divorce no doubt without that quality in a woman the family just acts as paying guest where people earn and live.

If family is taken as it is designed to be then women has different roles and responsibility. She is the key to happiness in the family culture. If she acts same as husband then who is going to take role of wife.

Are women ready to work and feed, and allow husbands to keep emotional and sentimental attachments of family?

It is true that due to women empowerment divorce, hate of marriage, increased fastly. Women just wants each & every "rights" (Aadhikar) over man but not each & every "duties" (Kartavya/Farz) as men.

This is unfortunate for Indian marriage that just with marriage women gets all rights from men & men gets all duties for women.

There is no chance of the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved. Swami Vivekanand also said- It is not possible for a bird to fly on one wing. So in order to bring gender equality in India women empowerment is necessary. Women empowerment means ' To increase the strength of women socially, economically and emotionally.

Women work 24*7 to raise their children and to maintain their families but they don't get enough recognition for household chores. And women who choose to be homemaker are not considered ed as a working person in the economy of the nation.

But government taken many steps towards women empowerment like government started many schemes -' Sukanya Samridhi Yojna', 'Mission Sakti' etc. And Delhi Government providing free journey for women in city buses etc.

This is Ajay Kumar. Today my topic is Women empowerment -a great cause for the increasing divorce rate in India. I do not agree with this. First of all, we all have to know about the women empowerment, simply it means uplifting the status of women in the society in the field of education, healthcare, politics, etc, they have a right to get equal opportunity as that of men and they have also right to solve their problem yourself, which makes them independent on others and it also makes free from domestic violence. It also plays a great role in the development of the country. If we talk about the divorce rate, it happens only when they do not have a good bonding between them and they do not spread their love in a good way that types of reason are the cause of divorce. But giving power to women is not a cause of divorce. That's all.

According to me, Women empowerment is not all have relation with divorce. Yes, it is true that earlier days women were not arrguing with there husband as there rite comes in between but as we see socially womens now days are not left behind they are working with man in shoulder to shoulder position, women empoverment is increasing the awareness that now womens are not behind,

Divorce between couple is due to misunderstanding which should be solve by discussing with each other.

Man should not feel jaleous about success of women they should feel proud that yes she can also go outside can work and earn money and will help in improving the financial condition.

If women empowerment is giving rise to divorces then men empowerment as well is giving rise to divorces. We are equally responsible. The problem is not the empowerment, the problem is with our society.

The society is so following gender-ism. If a man roams around with 3-4 girls, you call him a stud. But if a woman roams around with 3-4 guys, you call her a slut. The society has also become so geocentric.

If a guy cheats in a relationship, society supports the girl and If the girl cheats in a relationship, still the society supports the girl shame on us. Sorry for being so blunt and loud But this is the truth.
