Will Reliance Jio be a sustainable business model in a country like India?

Why should Jio be only rather be responsible for the addiction, cyber crimes and considered as a way for the wastage of time caused by youth of our country. I mean it is telecom company that is merely providing connectivity to people and making it easy for people of all sections to have access to internet data which nowadays has become a part of our day to day lives. By doing this they aren't affecting the so called ethics but are establishing a sustainable business in India. If you really think jio is solely responsible for all the cyber related crimes in India and all the ill effects you've mentioned below then why not blame the other companies who provide internet services too?!

Yeah, Sometimes it giving its' customer a free service. But from 31st March, it will charge at a low rate than others'. India is a country where if you are provided with a free service all will need it n use it. So yeah it will sustain.

In my view, Reliance JIO will be sustainable business model in country like India because in India most of the customers are go for the lower rates and they need better facilities so as reliance JIO is a well know company and as there promotional level they gives free usage to every customers. For the past few months, Reliance Jio is a company that has earned maximum profits before and after demonetization due its offers that provided free internet and calling services, for a limited period. This led people to invest a small amount of money to buy sim cards and register themselves to avail the exciting offers promised by the company. When each individual did the same process it went adding up which helped the company to gain a lot of profit which has made it possible for the company to continue to provide 'New and exciting offers'. Also the folks who got themselves subscribed before 'THE FREE CALLING AND INTERNET'offers, do not have to pay much after that. So customers were also not in loss. Therefore all that I want to say is, since the company from the beginning has got millions of people subscribed, it has perpetually been in profit and because of that they can still continue to provide a better connectivity including the offers which makes this company appealing and sustainable.

Yes. Definitely, I would like to go for its positive aspects as many of my friends here too will be talking in its favour. According to me, Reliance Jio`s move to providing free internet and calling services is a great push to digitisation which our honourable PM Mr. Narendra Modi has been insisting for a long. Also when the free tenure gets over, its prices still remain lower than any other services provided by other companies. In lieu with Reliance Jio`s facilities, bigger companies like Airtel and Vodafone are reducing their prices. Also, Reliance Jio's this services provided for a lot of conveniency amongst different people especially the ones who want to learn new and different things but couldn't afford them for being poor. Earlier they had to use the internet and calling judicially hence their learning used to get restricted. So I think Reliance Jio is a sustainable business model. Thank You.

Reliance Jio be a sustainable business model in India they provide free services Telecalling and the internet. I think it is starting of digitisation because like airtel idea Vodafone companies providing services taking lot service cost it was difficult to use the internet to poor people nowa days everyone uses internet service and India reached in 1st rank of using the internet because of Reliance Jio.

Yes, I think it will be a sustainable business model but it has a long way to go and to compete with Vodafone and Airtel. Even though it has bought a revolution by introducing such services. Internet and calls should be cheaper so that the lower middle class and poor section of the society can also benefit from it. As the years go by it will get better and better.

JIO is not good as airtel, MTNL, BSNL etc. Although the rate is cheaper to attract customer but later on see the rate. I advised my friends to use MTNL OR BSNL network instead of JIO.
